Company Overview

Since 1991, KANTEX Industries has provided professional vacuum excavation services to a wide range of clients. Utilizing the finest vacuum excavation equipment and remote tools available, our crews have completed projects throughout the U.S. and parts of Canada. KANTEX Industries offers many vacuum excavation services and is recognized as an industry leader in cathodic protection installation, gas leak repairs, and valve maintenance. Our most basic service offered is the exposure of buried utilities for positive depth identification. This work is primarily completed on subsurface utility engineering (SUE) projects for state and municipal roadway projects.

Vacuum excavations are completed by using a high-pressure stream of air from an air wand to dislodge soils into the unit. Water is sometimes used in place of the air but on a very limited basis. Water has been known to dislodge pipeline coatings and once water is introduced to the soil, it can no longer be used to backfill the hole.

KANTEX Industries has the experience and equipment to complete the most difficult vacuum excavation projects safely and efficiently. Our very low employee turnover rate ensures that our customers can count on the same professional services, year after year. Our fleet of vacuum excavation equipment consists of ExcaVac and VacMaster manufactured units, each capable of completing operations several hundred feet away from the units. This equipment is also available for lease.

Job safety is of the utmost importance at KANTEX Industries. In addition to documented weekly safety and training meetings, our crews are in full compliance with the DOT mandated Operator Qualification program and OSHA's Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies and standards. Pre-employment and random drug testing is also completed in compliance with DOT regulations. KANTEX Industries is a NCCER accredited sponsor and assesment center with two full-time Master Trainers on staff. Employee training, safety and training records are easily accessible through the ISNetworld database.
